Ionospheric Station

Users can access real-time ionograms with the results of the automatic scaling, view the ionograms obtained from Athens Digisonde during the last seven days and download various ionospheric parameters using the SAO Data Base. For more information visit the Ionospheric Station Page.


Satellite Data Products
NOAA/AVHRR IMAGE ACQUISITION STATION

The National Observatory of Athens operates an AVHRR NOAA image acquisition station. Satellite data from NOAA ,15,16 and 18 are acquired. Radiometrically Calibrated, Sea Surface Temperature (SST) and Normalized Differential Vegetation Index (NDVI) images are produced on a daily basis.

Services for:

  1. Data preprocessing including : radiometric calibration, georeference, image enhancement.
  2. Data processing to produce new value added products according to user's requirements are provided.
