1. Acceleration models for solar energetic particles, using observations from the SOHO and ACE missions, TMR - Individual Marie Curie Research Training Grant: FMBICT982903, 1998-2000.

This proposal was approved for 24 months duration with a total budget of 136,000 ECU. Declined .

2. Particle acceleration in solar flares : Models and Observations, National Scholarship Foundation of Greece 1998-1999.

This proposal was approved for 18 months duration with a total budget of 3,800,000 GDR. Declined .

3. Interpretation of the statistical properties of the observed radiation signatures from solar energetic events, Greek General Sectretariat of Research and Technology, under the Greek-French collaboration program, 2001-2002.

This proposal was approved for 24 months with total budget of 4,000,000 GDR.

4. SREM Solar Particle Events Scientific Analysis , ESA - ITT proposal AO/1-5543/07/NL/NR, 2008-2009.
